I like this place; however, they can use some improvement on one of their specialty items: SHRIMP. They don't devein it and that's gross. As you can see in one of my pictures...not even the fried shrimp is deveined! Other than this practice, their service is great. Their rice is the best as well as other grilled dishes.
María: I still think shrimp needs to be deveined as the veins are not MEAT, and yes, it does affect the taste of the shrimp since its waste what's in those veins. If other restaurants do it, I don't understand why Ostioneria Michoacan doesn't. -

This was supposed to be a michelada. Ordered a michi, then watched the bartender pour ONLY Clamato in this glass and place it on the waiters service area who then proceeded to bring to my table. Put zero effort into it.

Great service, the food is pretty decent. I ordered the red snapper and it was a bit tough and rubbery texture to it. It's expensive I was expecting a better quality to the fish. Overall great environment, has a bar with most alcoholic choices.

Had the grilled oysters for the appetizer and they were tiny and did not taste fresh. Also ordered the cocktail vuelve la vida; also did it taste fresh and was small in size for being a large. The restaurant was not as clean as It could be and for having oysters as the name of the restaurant, they were really disappointing.

I've come here a lot and I'm never disappointed! Try the shrimp botana it's peel and eat shrimp, it's a little spicy though. The micheladas are a must as well I always get one while I'm here. The plates are of generous portion and the super quesadilla is super big!!! The service has always been prompt and friendly. The salsas they serve with the chips are really good as well. The a la diabla sauce is extremely hot... proceed with caution.
